The 2018 graduation party for graduates of School of Mathematical Sciences was held in Yongqian Building, Yuquan Campus on the evening of June 17, 2018. CAI Quan, deputy minister of Student Affairs Department, BAO Gang, Dean of the School of Mathematical Sciences, WEN Jiwei, Secretary of the Party committee, SHENG Weimin, Vice Dean of the School of Mathematical Sciences, YAO Chen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, faculties and all the graduating undergraduates of 2018 gathered together to spend a memorable evening.
The first appearance of the party was made by cheerleading team from College of Education, ZJU, performing a dance titled “To our youth”.
Following the opening dance, BAO Gang, Dean of the School of Mathematical Sciences delivered a speech, congratulating all the graduates on the success of their graduation. He also expressed his ardent expectations and good wishes to them. After the speech, leaders of the school presented awards to all the outstanding graduates.
The programs of the party were wonderful and colorful. The song “Papillon” sang by student named LIU Yang was touching. Vigorous dance performed by 7 faculties ignited the entire atmosphere. Creative program “Super Mary” told the stories of students’ daily life and study life. The whole party was full of laughter and cheers, everyone was having an unforgettable time.
During the party, graduates of School of Mathematical Sciences held an Award Ceremony for their teachers. And the teachers prepared a birthday cake for them. Audiences were genuinely moved by the close and good relationship between teachers and students.
At last, the graduation party went to the end in the school song of ZJU. Graduation is not only an end to a period, but also a commencement of a new period and we hope that future years will bring all our graduates continued happiness.
